Our sister site MySuperCar have been teaming up with Motorsport team Moores Motorsport and tracking their progress as they build out their Audi S3 Race Car ahead of testing next month and a return to prestigious events such as Brit Car next season.

The above is the S3 that Moores Motorsport will be running under the stewardship of race chief Jamie Moore.

The car livery will remain white to enable sponsorship detailing and comes race ready and fully spec’d for competitive action.

Check out the spec of the car in the video and take a Virtual Tour of this sublime race car at the bottom of this article.

But it does not end there.

Motorsport at grassroots level is on the rise, and the introduction of a new Ford Ka series from 2019 is a great way to get involved on a budget.

Ka Racing is Here

The EnduroKa is as the title suggests, a Ford Ka endurance series with so far five scheduled races for 2019.

A five-hour race at Donnington Park, a six-hour race at Cadwell Park, a feature event at Snetterton, a five-hour race at Oulton Park and a 500-minute signature race at Brands Hatch on the Indy circuit the highlight of the series.

No dates have been set as of yet, but it does highlight the desire to bring grassroots motorsport to the masses at affordable prices.

The Ka’s themselves run their standard engines (tweaked of course) with each car stripped and set up to the most rigorous safety standards to ensure compliance with race and series officials.

The action promises to be intense with the cars well matched on track and will be a fine day out for anyone new to motorsport or looking for that next series to maybe even have a go at.

I have been producing content for the sports industry for many years now and love nothing more than the competitive nature of any game. An avid football, F1, and golf fan, when I am not giving my opinions on sport, I will most likely be trying to chip out of a bunker.
